Team MedStar Health brings together associates, physicians and our larger community to participate in BellRinger, a bike ride and year-round community effort to advance cancer research to benefit our patients.

Funds raised by BellRinger will support life-saving cancer research at the MedStar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. As the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Washington, D.C. area, the center's impact reaches from its labs and clinics to care settings throughout the region via the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute to care settings around the globe.

Team MedStar Health encompasses all teams created by MedStar Health associates and physicians, and family and friends are welcome to join in and participate, too, either by riding, donating, or volunteering. We, along with our Georgetown University "Team Hoya" counterparts ride as a one community for those who have been affected by cancer. Our vision is to be the trusted leader in caring for patients and advancing health, and our support of the BellRinger event will help advance cancer research so that those who entrust us with their care will receive the safest, highest quality care available.
