Bach Duong's story

I’m riding 100 miles in BellRinger to raise money for cancer research and I’m doing it in memory of two people who meant a lot to me and whose lives were cut short by cancer.

I ride for Andrew Lee, founder of Driven to Cure. Andrew was diagnosed at 19 with a rare kidney cancer called HLRCC, but instead of stepping back, he built something that brought people together. Driven to Cure became a movement, raising awareness and funding, especially within the car community where his story left a deep impact. I was lucky to know Andrew, even for a short time. His determination, energy, and purpose stuck with me, and I think about his mission frequently.

I also ride for Robin Littleton, my best friend’s mom, who was like a second mother to me growing up. She was there from Cub Scouts in elementary school to helping Evan and I move into our college dorm as roommates. Losing her to cancer was a personal loss that still hits hard.

Cancer has taken too many great people. That’s why I’m riding — to help fund research that leads to better treatments, earlier detection, and more survivors.

100% of every dollar raised through BellRinger goes directly to cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. No overhead. Just impact.

If you can, I’d love your support. Let’s ride for those we’ve lost and for the breakthroughs still to come.
