This fall I will once again take to the roads in the fight to end cancer. I plan to ride 100 miles in the BellRinger event taking place here in DC on October 21st. The BellRinger is a bike ride and community movement raising funds for cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
I will be dedicating my ride this year to Cristina Krukar, an inspirational friend and cancer survivor, along with Garry Lausch, an old friend and mentor, who did not survive his battle with cancer and is sorely missed and to Darla Todd who is just beginning her fight against this disease. This is my inspiration.
The Bellringer is a bike ride and a year-round effort to end cancer. Our movement is motivated by a community of Riders, Virtual Riders, volunteers, and donors working together to further our impact. I've made a commitment to fundraising, and I invite you to join me by donating to my effort and supporting life-saving cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
