Cancer affects countless individuals and families, and I believe philanthropy can make a meaningful difference in the fight against it.
As a senior at Georgetown, I've had the privilege of being involved with BellRinger throughout my four years. This past summer, I also had the opportunity to work with the American Cancer Society and see firsthand the critical role philanthropy plays in advancing cancer research and supporting those affected by cancer.
This year, I'm proud to be riding alongside Students of Georgetown, Inc. (The Corp), the world's largest entirely student-run nonprofit organization. As a member of The Corp's Board of Directors, I help lead our charitable giving initiatives and efforts to make a positive impact in our community. In fact, BellRinger is one of our largest annual philanthropic efforts!
Every dollar raised through BellRinger supports lifesaving cancer research at Georgetown University's Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, helping researchers work toward better treatments, improved outcomes, and ultimately, a future without cancer.
