Cancer touches all of us. Whether it is ourselves, our family, our friends, we have all seen the effects of this merciless disease. In the last 18 months, I have lost a cousin, and witnessed so many colleagues and friends - or members of their families - battle this disease. It can make one feel helpless as we watch these amazing warriors.
So, I wanted to do something. But I am not a doctor, nurse, or survivor - indeed I am not even a warm person who can lend an ear. But I can ride a bike.
BellRinger is a bike ride and a year-round effort to end cancer. To honor all those we've lost and all those I see fighting right now, I've made a commitment to fundraising. I invite you to join me by donating to my effort and supporting life-saving cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Thank you for whatever you can do.
