I HATE CANCER!

If you really know me, you are aware of who Louise is. Both my grandmother and my aunt, that I had a special bond with, shared that name. I lost them both to cancer years ago. I miss them.

There's so much in this life that we can't control, but recently, I was invited to take action to fight cancer in a small but important way - by raising money to support critical cancer research. Last year, with the encouragement from my colleague Erika, I registered for BellRinger, a bike ride and community movement to end cancer. I rode 25 miles and raised $1000. This year, I am riding 50 miles and hope to raise $1250. You might be thinking 50 miles is a lot for me complete but this ride is nothing compared to the journey that so many people have endured as a result of this life-threatening disease.
