2026 is the first year without Charles Son Kim, my grandfather. Some of you may not know, but my first name is actually Charles as well. I am proud to carry his name and am so fortunate to be a grandson, nephew, cousin, son, and older brother to the loving family he built.
Last year, Chicago Haraboji was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, one of the most aggressive malignancies with a 13% 5-year survival rate. Watching him battle for nearly 8 months inspired me to ride in his honor this year.
This October, I will be joining my friends, colleagues, and clients of Bernstein in the 2026 BellRinger bike ride to end cancer in our nation’s capital. I ask for your support to help advance life-saving cancer research at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
