Most if not all of us in this world have crossed paths with someone who is affected by cancer - whether that be a friend, family member, or even a random stranger walking by us on the way to work. I have felt what it's like to lose someone close to me from this disease, but I have also felt what it's like to see a person's life saved from advanced cancer treatment. Volunteering for BellRinger is my opportunity to make a small impact on cancer in my community. It's my way to honor those we have lost, to celebrate those who have won their battle, and to fight for those still undergoing treatment.
I invite you to join me by donating to my efforts in supporting life-saving cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
