We ride for all of the children, adolescents, and young adults that we care for and treat each and every day. Our team is made up of clinicians and laboratory researchers, which parallels our Division of Pediatric Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer at Georgetown University. Our clinical team treats cancer patients from birth to age 39 (above age 21 it depends on the type of cancer). Our research team has active projects in Ewing sarcoma, osteosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma and medulloblastoma. These research projects directly study the critical driving genes of these cancers and creates new drugs that can move into therapeutic trials. One such drug is currently in Phase 2 studies for patients with Ewing sarcoma. Our research team has been expanding to include other basic scientists in biophysics, chemistry, and informatics. This multidisciplinary approach helps us address questions that requires outside-the-box thinking. Please donate to help us in our journey of improving the lives of our patients!
